MullenLowe U.S. invited me to join their Women’s History Month celebration with a design inspired by a chat with former Creative Strategist Amber Jared. Amber and her girlfriends had a ‘sorry jar’ where they would have to put a dollar bill each time they unnecessarily apologized. “As women, we apologize way too much when we think we’re taking up space when we’re actually not. We’re just existing.” This design aims to celebrate all those strong women who are out of apologies and whose jars are empty. This was launched as part of MullenLowe’s Proud Stories, a design series meant to amplify women’s voices and shine a light on their talent.
